Wood's Auto Parts is one of the largest independent auto parts stores in Southwestern Virginia. Over four decades ago Robert and Margaret Wood began with a one bay Pure Oil Station and Country Store. Today they would be proud of what their son, Barry, and now their sons, Jason and Allen, have all done with the family business. Tommy and his son Allen have one of the largest towing and recovery services along with multiple service locations in Roanoke and Vinton. Barry Wood started Wood's Auto Parts in 1978. Since then he has seen his company expand beyond the local market. Woods Auto Parts is now a 3rd generation family run business from Robert to Barry.

In October of 2001, Wood's Auto Parts acquired Omni Import Parts of Roanoke, Virginia. Together Wood's Auto Parts and Omni Import Parts are able to offer domestic as well as import auto parts.
